Licensed insurance companies
The Office of the Superintendent of Insurance is responsible for issuing licenses to insurance companies and maintains a list of all registered insurance companies authorized to conduct business in Alberta.
Any questions you have related to the status of an insurance company should be directed to the Office of the Superintendent of Insurance.
The Office of the Superintendent of Insurance is also responsible for issuing licenses to Special Brokers. All questions relating to the requirements for becoming a Special Broker should be directed to their office.
