Protecting Alberta consumers
As part of our work to protect Alberta consumers, AIC investigates complaints against insurance agents, brokers, and independent adjusters and enforces penalties and disciplinary actions resulting from Council Decisions.
Alberta consumers are encouraged to use our Make a Complaint process if they have a concern about the services they received from a broker, agent, or independent adjuster. We investigate all complaints to determine if there’s been a violation of the Insurance Act or its Regulations.
