This Information Bulletin contains information about E&O requirements for all agents and adjusters who hold a license with AIC.
The Alberta Insurance Act requires all insurance agents and adjusting firms carry E&O insurance. Policies for agencies and adjusting firms must cover all of their agents and adjusters.
The E&O policy requirements are dependent on whether a business has an unrestricted certificate of authority or a restricted certificate of authority.
