Exam prerequisites & preparation
Exam prerequisites
To take a General Level 1 or LLQP exam, you must first be certified as completed the educational prerequisites. All courses (classroom or online) and educational materials must be from an approved educator.
Adjusters’ and General Level 2 and 3 exams have no educational prerequisites.
When you register for the exam, your certification for having completed the education prerequisites will be automatically validated through the CIPR database. Certifications are only valid for a period of 1 year from the initial date of certification, so you must take the exam before that certification expires or you’ll have to retake the course.
